A reinforced concrete utilitarian structure, constructed in 1966, Lurke Street car park was quick and cost-effective to build, with no historical significance. No frivolity or elaborate features, simply built for purpose.

This illustration also features The Arc, a wonderful local gift shop & emporium, and The Gallery, since replaced by You For Coffee.
